Creating Static Route

This page explains the Create Static Route function on the OCX Portal. Static Routes allow you to individually define destinations for the Internet Gateway and manually specify connection paths.

Preparation

Please confirm the following before creating a Static Route:

  1. Your User Role is either admin or user.
  2. The status of the target Internet Gateway resource is either available or attached.

Procedure for Creating a Static Route

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.

  2. Click [Internet Gateways] from the left navigation bar.

  3. From the Internet Gateways page, click the target Internet Gateway resource.

  4. A detail screen will appear at the bottom of the page. Switch to the [Static Routes] tab and click the [Create Static Route] button.

  5. The screen will switch to the Static Route creation steps. Configure the input items as follows and click [Create]:

    • Prefix
      • Enter the IP address of the network you wish to add in CIDR (IPv4/mask) format (e.g., 192.168.0.0/24).
      • Note: Please ensure the IP address is entered as a network address.
    • Next Hop * Enter the IP address of the network relay point (Next-Hop) for the destination (e.g., 192.168.0.1).
      • Note: You cannot set addresses as the next hop if they are network addresses, broadcast addresses, or addresses outside the range of your own Internet Gateway.
  6. A confirmation pop-up will appear. Review the settings and click [Create].

  7. The Static Routes list will be displayed at the bottom of the screen, showing the newly created Static Route.

This completes the creation of the Static Route.
