OCX-Router(v1) Overview
OCX-Router(v1) is a function that performs IP routing within the OCX network.
The OCX-Router(v1) is primarily used for the following purposes:
- Terminating BGP connections with the cloud without the need for customers to provide their own routers.
- Establishing Layer 3 connectivity between multiple different clouds or sites.
Remarks
Please ensure a thorough network design when building an environment that mixes static and dynamic routing using OCX-Router(v1).
Features for redistributing Static Routes and Connected routes into BGP are available; please use them as needed.
OCX-Router(v1) Configuration Items
Virtual routing is achieved by configuring the following router resource and four items as necessary, and then performing a Virtual Circuit (VC) attachment operation.
