Internet Gateway Pricing Structure

Usage fees are incurred when an Internet Gateway is created using the OCX Portal. This page explains the triggering of usage fees and how to confirm them.

Internet Gateway Fees and Start of Billing​

There are Initial Fees, which are billed only once after the application, and Monthly Fees, which are billed every month.

Initial Fees​

Initial fees are billed once after the creation (purchase) of the Internet Gateway resource. Billing and payment occur in the month following the month that includes the billing start date.

Monthly Fees​

The billing start date is the day our company accepts the creation (purchase) of the Internet Gateway. The billing amount for the first month is calculated on a pro-rata basis from the start date until the end of that month. Pro-rata calculations use the number of calendar days in the month that includes the billing start date.

  • All time references are based on Japan Standard Time (JST).
  • Amounts listed are exclusive of tax.
  • These amounts apply to customers who have entered into a contract with BBIX, Inc..

Termination of Billing for Internet Gateway​

The billing end date for the Internet Gateway usage fee is the day the decommissioning is completed (when it disappears from the list on the OCX Portal). If an Internet Gateway is decommissioned mid-month, the fee for that month is calculated on a pro-rata basis using the calendar days of that month.

Steps to Verify Internet Gateway Usage Charges​

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.
  2. To check billing amounts, click [Settings] > [Billing Information] from the left navigation bar.
  3. A billing list will be displayed; click the billing year and month you wish to review in detail.
  4. The resources used during that month will be listed; check the line items where the resource type is Internet Gateway.

Note: Billing amounts on the OCX Portal are estimates. Please refer to your official invoice for the final billing amount.
