Adding NAT IP Addresses
This page explains the Add NAT IP Address function on the OCX Portal.
Remarks
- Upon creating an Internet Gateway resource, one initial NAT IP address is provided automatically.
- On the NAT IP address list page, you can check the Active Sessions for each NAT IP address; this value is updated every 5 minutes.
- The recommended limit is approximately 62,000 sessions per NAT IP address.
- If the number of sessions increases, please consider adding additional NAT IP addresses.
Preparation
Please confirm the following before adding a NAT IP address:
- Your User Role is either
adminoruser. - The target Internet Gateway resource is in either the
availableorattachedstatus.

A confirmation pop-up will appear. Review the settings and click [Add].
-
The NAT IP Address list will be displayed at the bottom of the screen, showing the newly added NAT IP addresses.
This completes the addition of NAT IP addresses.
Notes
- When adding a NAT IP address, all existing NAT sessions will be cleared.
- Consequently, a communication interruption will occur for all currently active NAT IP addresses on the target Internet Gateway resource.
- Please be cautious if there are applications currently communicating via NAT.
- The duration of this interruption depends on the behavior of the application as it disconnects and attempts to reconnect sessions.
