Decommissioning (Updating Service Provider) OCX Hikari Private
This page explains how to terminate OCX Hikari Private to switch to another provider (Service Provider Change) using the OCX Portal. A "Service Provider Change" (Jigyosha-henko) refers to terminating the OCX Hikari Private service provided by BBIX and switching to a Hikari Collaboration service provided by another company.
Before Starting the Termination (Service Provider Change) Process
- Minimum Contract Period: The minimum contract period is from the billing start date until the end of the 24th month, including the starting month.
- Termination Fee: If you terminate within the minimum contract period, a termination fee will be charged, calculated as the monthly usage fee multiplied by the number of remaining months up to the 24th month.
- Fees: An authorization number issuance fee for the Service Provider Change is required.

Procedure for Decommissioning (Updating Service Provider) OCX Hikari Private
Operations on the OCX Portal are covered from steps [1] through [8].
- Log in to the OCX Portal.
- Click [Access Lines] from the left navigation bar.
- When the [Access Lines] sub-menu appears, select OCX Hikari Private.
- Click the [Inquiry] button in the upper right corner.
- On the information entry screen, select [Application Cancellation / Termination] under [Inquiry Type]. Enter the name of the resource you wish to update in the [Inquiry Details] field and click [Submit].
- A confirmation screen will appear. Please review the entered information.
- Confirm the termination details and click [Submit].
- Once the inquiry completion screen is displayed, click [Back to List] to return to the list page.
- Receipt of Termination Acceptance Email
- We will notify you via email of the [Service Provider Change Authorization Number] required for switching to another provider's collaboration service.
- Application to Another Provider's Collaboration Service
- After receiving the [Service Provider Change Authorization Number], please proceed with the service provider change procedures with the new provider.
- OCX Hikari Private will be automatically terminated once the change to the other provider's service is completed. The termination date will be the last day of the month following the month in which the termination was requested. After the termination date, the corresponding "Access Line powered by MDA" will be removed from the list.
Notes
- The Service Provider Change Authorization Number is valid for 15 days from the date of issuance. If the application to the new provider is not completed within this period, you will need to request a new number.
- Once the termination of the OCX Hikari Private line is complete, the [Tunnel Gateway] will automatically switch to a "detached" state.
