Creating Cloud Connection (Sakura Cloud)
This page explains how to connect to Sakura Cloud using the Create Cloud Connection function on the OCX Portal. Through the "Private Link for BBIX" feature of Sakura Cloud, OCX connects your network to Sakura Cloud at Layer 3.
About Private Link for BBIX *External link.
Information
Private Link for BBIX is a service that connects the customer and Sakura Cloud at Layer 3. Therefore, you must prepare Layer 3 equipment (routers or L3 switches) capable of routing control on your side. Route exchange and control between the customer and Sakura Cloud are performed via Static Routing or BGP.
Furthermore, as the connection is intended to be redundant, we strongly recommend designing your network (including equipment redundancy and routing) before considering a connection with Sakura Cloud. For detailed specifications of Private Link for BBIX, please contact Sakura Internet Inc.
