Issuance of LOA

A LOA (Letter of Authorization) is a document that proves the legitimacy of a connection to a specific destination.
After creating (purchasing) a Physical Port, you must submit the LOA to the data center operator when requesting physical cross-connect wiring within the specified data center.
This page explains how to issue an LOA using the OCX Portal.

Preparation

Please confirm the following before issuing an LOA:

  1. Your User Role is either admin or user.
  2. The creation of the Physical Port is complete, and its status is either ordered or available.

Procedure for Issuing an LOA

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.
  2. Click [Physical Ports] from the left navigation bar.
  3. Once the Physical Ports list page is displayed, click the Information icon in the Actions column on the right side of the target Physical Port.
  4. The configuration information for the Physical Port will be displayed. Click [Issue LOA] at the bottom right.
  5. The LOA will be displayed. Click [Print LOA] at the bottom right.
  6. You will be redirected to the browser's print screen. Please select "Save as PDF," ensure that the "Headers and footers" and "Background graphics" options are unchecked, and download the LOA.

This completes the issuance of the LOA.

Proceed to Step 8 of the Physical Port Creation Procedure and submit the LOA to the data center operator.
