Adding SIM Option Features

This page explains how to add SIM option features using the OCX Portal.

Preparation​

Please confirm the following before adding SIM option features:

  1. Your User Role is either admin or user.

Remarks​

Regarding Traffic Measurement:

  • Even if multiple requests to start or cancel usage are made within the same month, measurement will start from the point of the last activation.
  • Traffic volume for periods prior to the activation date within the same month will not be measured.
  • The measurement interval is 6 hours.

Regarding Communication Speed Limits:

  • Enabling "Traffic Measurement" is required if you wish to set a data capacity limit.

Procedure for Adding SIM Option Features​

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.
  2. Click [Access Lines] from the left navigation bar.
  3. When the [Access Lines] sub-menu appears, click [SIMs].
  4. Select the SIM to which you want to add the option features.
  5. A details panel will appear at the bottom of the screen. Switch to the [Option Settings] tab and click the [Edit] button in the upper right corner.
  6. The screen will switch to the Option Settings Change screen. Configure the following items and click [Update]. (Each feature can be added independently.)
    • Traffic Measurement
      • Enable this feature.
    • Communication Speed Limit
      • Enable this feature and enter the Capacity Limit and Speed Limit.
      • If Traffic Measurement is disabled, you can only enter the Speed Limit.
      • Capacity Limit: Enter any integer value of 0 MB or greater. (Setting it to 0 MB will apply the speed limit immediately.)
      • Speed Limit: Enter any integer value of 2 Kbps or greater.
    • IMEI Lock
      • Enable this feature and enter the IMEI.
      • IMEI: Enter a 15-digit numeric value including the check digit.
      • If the IMEI of the connected device is available, it will be displayed.
  7. A confirmation pop-up will appear. Review the details and fees, then click [Update].
  8. The [Option Settings] in the details panel at the bottom of the screen will be updated. Confirm that the changes are reflected.

This completes the addition of SIM option features.
