Updating XaaS Connection (Cisco Secure Access) Resource

This page explains the procedure for updating XaaS Connection Cisco Secure Access resources using the OCX Portal.

Preparation

Before updating an XaaS Connection resource, please confirm the following:

  1. Your User Role is either admin or user permission
  2. The XaaS Connection resource to be updated is in either available or attached status

Procedure for Updating a XaaS Connection Resource

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.

  2. From the navigation bar on the left, click [XaaS Connections].

  3. When the [XaaS Connections] list page is displayed, click the [Update] button for the relevant XaaS Connection resource.

  4. You will be redirected to the configuration update step. The following items can be modified. After completing the input for the items you want to change, click [Update].

    • Name
      • Enter any name. Using an easily identifiable name makes management easier.
      • Maximum 40 characters.
      • Whitespace characters at the beginning and end of the resource name are automatically removed.
    • Private IP Address
      • Enter the IPv4 address to be used as the gateway for XaaS connection in CIDR (IPv4/mask) format. (Example: 192.168.0.1/24) ※If BGP Parameter is configured, the private IP address cannot be changed.
    • Local ASN
      • Enter the AS number to operate on the XaaS Connection. You can use 4-byte ASN. It operates as eBGP.
  5. An update confirmation popup will be displayed. If the contents are correct, click [Update]. ※To cancel the operation, click [Cancel].

  6. The details screen will be displayed. Please confirm that the changes have been reflected. ※If the resource status is updating, the update process is in progress. When the update process completes successfully, available or attached will be displayed. ※You can update the status by clicking [Refresh] in the upper right corner.

This completes the update of the XaaS Connection resource.
