XaaS Connection Pricing Structure
Usage fees apply when you create a XaaS Connection using the OCX Portal. This page explains how XaaS Connection usage fees are incurred and how to verify them.
XaaS Connection Rates and Billing Start Date
There are Initial Fees (billed only once after applying for OCX) and Monthly Fees (billed every month).
Initial Fee
This is billed only once after the XaaS Connection is created (purchased). You will be billed/charged in the month following the month to which the billing start date belongs.

Monthly Fee
The billing start date is the day the Company accepts the creation (purchase) of the XaaS Connection. The amount billed for the current month will be the total calculated on a prorated basis from the start date until the end of that month. Note that prorated calculations are based on the actual number of calendar days in the month to which the billing start date belongs.

Termination of Billing for XaaS Connection
The billing end date for XaaS Connection usage fees is the date the XaaS Connection deletion is completed (the point at which it disappears from the list on the OCX Portal). If a XaaS Connection is deleted in the middle of a month, the monthly fee for the month to which the billing end date belongs will be calculated on a prorated basis using calendar days.
Steps to Verify XaaS Connection Usage Charges
- Log in to the OCX Portal.
- To view billing amounts, click [Settings] > [Billing Information] from the left navigation bar.
- A list of billings will appear; click on the billing month you wish to check in detail.
- A list of usage resources for that month will be displayed. Please check the details for the resource type XaaS Connection nG.
- nG indicates the bandwidth of the XaaS Connection specified at the time of creation.
Note: The billing amounts listed on the OCX Portal are estimates. Please check your invoice for the official billing amount.
