Updating XaaS Connection (Wasabi) Resources

This page explains the procedure for updating Wasabi Hot Cloud Storage resources for XaaS Connections using the OCX Portal.

Preparation​

Please check the following before updating a XaaS Connection resource:

  1. Your User Role must be either admin or user.
  2. The XaaS Connection resource to be modified must be in either the available or attached status.

Procedure for Updating a XaaS Connection Resource​

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.

  2. Click [XaaS Connections] from the left navigation bar.

  3. When the [XaaS Connections] list page appears, click the [Edit] button for the corresponding XaaS Connection resource.

  4. The screen will switch to the configuration modification step. The following items can be modified. After entering the items you wish to change, click [Update].

    • Name
      • Enter any name. Entering a name that is easy to identify makes management easier.
      • The maximum number of characters is 40.
      • Leading and trailing whitespace in the resource name will be automatically removed.
    • Speed (Bandwidth)
      • Select any value from 2 or 3 Gbps.
        • 2 Gbps and 3 Gbps cannot be changed to 1 Gbps.
        • This cannot be changed if "Osaka" was selected for the NAT location at the time of creation.
    • IPv4 Gateway Address
      • Enter the IPv4 address to be used as the gateway for the XaaS connection in CIDR (IPv4/mask) format. (Example: 192.168.0.1/24)
        • The IPv4 Gateway Address cannot be changed if BGP Parameters are configured.
    • Local ASN
      • Enter the AS number to operate on the XaaS Connection. You can use 4-byte ASNs. It operates as eBGP.

  5. A modification confirmation popup will appear. If there are no issues with the content, click [Update].

    • Click [Cancel] to cancel the operation.

  6. The details screen will be displayed. Please confirm that the changes have been reflected.

    • If the resource status is updating, the modification process is in progress. Once the modification process is completed normally, available or attached will be displayed.
    • You can update the status by clicking [Refresh] in the top right corner.

This completes the update of the XaaS Connection resource.
