Decommissioning (Deleting) a Virtual Circuit Interface (VCI)

This page explains how to decommission (delete) a Virtual Circuit Interface (VCI) using the OCX Portal.
In this document, “VCI” is used as an abbreviation.

Preparation

Before deleting a VCI, please confirm the following:

  1. Your User Role is either admin or user.
  2. The VCI you want to delete is not attached to any Virtual Circuit (VC).

Procedure for Decommissioning (Deleting) a Virtual Circuit Interface (VCI)

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.
  2. From the left navigation bar, click [Virtual Circuit Interfaces (VCIs)].
  3. When the Virtual Circuit Interfaces list page is displayed, click the Delete icon in the Actions column on the right side of the VCI you want to delete.
  4. A Delete Confirmation pop-up will appear. Enter the resource name and click [Delete] to proceed.
    To cancel the operation, click [Cancel].
  5. Confirm that the target VCI has been removed from the list.

Notes

  • Deleted Virtual Circuit Interfaces (VCIs) cannot be restored.
