Decommissioning a SmartVPN Connection

This page explains how to decommission (delete) a SmartVPN Connection using the OCX Management Portal.

Preparation

Please confirm the following before decommissioning (deleting) a SmartVPN Connection:

  1. Your User Role is either admin or user.
  2. All SmartVPN Interfaces associated with the target SmartVPN Connection have been completely detached.

Procedure for Decommissioning (Deleting) a SmartVPN Connection

  1. Log in to the OCX Management Portal.

  2. Click [SmartVPN Connections] from the left navigation bar.

  3. Once the SmartVPN Connections list page is displayed, click the Delete icon in the Actions column on the right side of the item you wish to decommission (delete).

  4. A [Confirm Deletion] pop-up will appear. Enter the Name of the resource and click [Delete].
    To cancel the operation, click [Cancel].

  5. Confirm that the relevant SmartVPN Connection has been removed from the list.

Notes

  • Decommissioned (deleted) SmartVPN Connections cannot be restored.
  • Regarding the cancellation procedure for the SmartVPN service itself, please consult your SoftBank Corp. sales representative.
