Decommissioning (Deletion) of a Tunnel Gateway

This page explains how to decommission (delete) a Tunnel Gateway using the OCX Portal.

Preparation

Please confirm the following before decommissioning (deleting) a Tunnel Gateway:

  1. Your User Role is either admin or user.
  2. All Connected Lines associated with the target Tunnel Gateway have been completely deleted.
  3. The status of the target Tunnel Gateway is available.

Procedure for Decommissioning (Deleting) a Tunnel Gateway

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.
  2. Click [Tunnel Gateways] from the left navigation bar.
  3. Once the [Tunnel Gateways] page appears, click the Delete icon in the Actions column on the right side of the item you wish to decommission (delete).
  4. A deletion confirmation pop-up will appear. Enter the Name of the resource and click the [Delete] button.
    To cancel the operation, click [Cancel].
  5. Confirm that the relevant Tunnel Gateway has been removed from the list.
    Note: The status will change to deleting before it is fully removed. It may take some time for the process to complete. Tip: You can update the status by clicking the [Refresh] button in the upper right corner.

This completes the decommissioning (deletion) of the Tunnel Gateway.

Notes

  • Decommissioned (deleted) Tunnel Gateways cannot be restored.
