Updating a Static Route

This page explains the procedure for updating a Static Route using the OCX Portal.

Preparation

Please confirm the following before updating a Static Route:

  1. Your User Role is either admin or user.
  2. The status of the target Tunnel Gateway is either available or attached.

Procedure for Updating a Static Route

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.
  2. Click [Tunnel Gateways] from the left navigation bar.
  3. On the Tunnel Gateways page, click the relevant Tunnel Gateway resource.
  4. The details screen will appear at the bottom of the page. Switch to the [Static Routes] tab.
  5. Once the Static Route list is displayed, click the Edit icon in the Actions column on the right side of the relevant Static Route.
  6. The screen will switch to the configuration update step. The following items can be modified. After entering the changes, click [Update].
    • Prefix
      • Enter the IP address of the network you wish to add in CIDR (IPv4/mask) format (e.g., 192.168.0.0/24).
      • Note: Please ensure the IP address is entered as a network address.
    • Next Hop
      • Enter the IP address of the relay point (Next Hop) for the destination network (e.g., 192.168.0.254).
      • Note: You cannot set the address to a network address, a broadcast address, or an address that is outside the range of your own Tunnel Gateway.
  7. A confirmation pop-up will appear. If the details are correct, click [Update].
  8. The Static Routes list will be displayed at the bottom of the screen. Confirm that the changes have been reflected in the list.
